Privacy Policy and KVKK Notice
Last updated: 2026-10-12
This notice explains, under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK"), how your personal data is processed when you visit klarvoanalytics.com, book a call or contact us.
1. Data controller
Your personal data is processed by Klarvo Analytics as the data controller. You can reach us at hi@klarvoanalytics.com.
2. What personal data we process
- When you visit the site: your IP address, browser and device information, the time of your visit and the page you viewed. This information is created technically in the server logs of the provider hosting the site.
- When you book a call: your name, email address, the date and time you chose, and what you write in the booking notes. When you book from the diagnosis questions or a free tool, a summary of your result is also added to the notes.
- When you email us: your name, email address and the content of your message.
- When you fill in the form to download the free report (on the report page, at the end of blog articles or in the window that opens when you leave a page): your email address and, on the report page form, optionally your name and company name. Which page the form was on is passed along too. These are sent to us by email and not stored separately on the site.
- Only if you allow analytics cookies: through Google Analytics, the pages you view, where you came from, your device and browser type, your approximate location (country/city) and actions on the site (e.g. opening the booking window, completing a booking, using a tool). Data you load into the tools is never part of this.
3. Free tools and diagnosis questions
The Data Quality Check, Manual Reporting Cost, Safety Stock Calculator, Data Maturity Test and the diagnosis questions on the homepage run entirely in your browser. The files you upload, the values you enter and the answers you give are not sent to us or to any other server, and are not stored.
If you choose to book a call from these tools with "Let's talk about the result", only a summary of the result (scores, types of issues found, calculated values) is added to the booking notes, never the content of your file. You can see and change the notes before confirming the booking.
4. Why we process personal data
- Operating and securing the site and preventing misuse
- Scheduling and holding the call you requested
- Answering your questions and keeping in touch
- Providing the free report and, where relevant, contacting you once about it (no newsletter)
- Preparing a service proposal and establishing a possible contract
- Meeting legal obligations
- If you consent, measuring and improving how the site is used
5. Legal grounds
Your personal data is processed on the following legal grounds under Article 5(2) of the KVKK:
- It is directly related to establishing or performing a contract (scheduling, proposals and communication)
- It is necessary for the data controller to meet a legal obligation
- It is necessary for the data controller's legitimate interests, provided it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms (site security and server logs)
Measurement with Google Analytics relies only on your explicit consent. You can withdraw it at any time through the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of the page.
Your personal data is collected when you provide it through the booking tool and email, or automatically while you use the site.
6. Transfers of personal data
Your personal data is shared, limited to the purposes above, with these service providers:
- Vercel Inc. (USA): hosting the site and server logs
- Cal.com, Inc. (USA): scheduling and booking notifications
- Google LLC (USA): only if you consent, site usage measurement with Google Analytics
- Namecheap, Inc. (USA): forwarding email sent to our domain
- Google LLC (USA): storing email correspondence (Gmail)
- Resend, Inc. (USA): forwarding report form details to us by email and delivering the emails we send
Because some of these providers are located abroad, your personal data is transferred outside Türkiye. The transfer through Google Analytics cookies is based, under Article 9 of the KVKK, on the explicit consent you give by choosing "Accept" in the cookie notice; you can withdraw it at any time. Transfers to the other providers are made in line with Article 9 of the KVKK.
Your personal data may also be shared with competent public authorities where there is a legal obligation. Your personal data is never sold or used for advertising.
7. Retention
Server logs are kept for the short periods set by the hosting provider. Booking details, report form details and email correspondence are kept for 2 years after the communication ends, or longer if the law requires it; after that it is deleted, destroyed or anonymized. Google Analytics data is deleted automatically after 14 months.
8. Cookies
No advertising cookies are used. Analytics cookies load only if you choose "Accept" in the cookie window shown when the page opens, or switch analytics on under "Customize": Google Analytics uses the _ga and _ga_<ID> cookies (2 years) to recognize you as a returning visitor. If you leave analytics off under "Customize" and save your choice, Google Analytics is never loaded and nothing is sent to Google. Your choice is stored in your browser only to remember it; you can change it at any time with the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of the page.
The booking window is provided by Cal.com and only loads when you click (or hover over) a booking button. At that point Cal.com uses these cookies, which are necessary for the booking to work securely: __cf_bm (bot protection, about 30 minutes), __Secure-next-auth.csrf-token and __Secure-next-auth.callback-url (for the session). Details are in Cal.com's privacy policy.
9. Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to apply to the data controller to:
- learn whether your personal data is processed,
- request information about the processing if it is,
- learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data is used accordingly,
- know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom your data is transferred,
- request correction if your data is incomplete or inaccurate,
- request deletion or destruction of your data under the conditions in Article 7 of the KVKK,
- request that corrections, deletions or destructions be notified to third parties your data was transferred to,
- object to a result against you arising solely from automated analysis of your data,
- claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing of your data.
10. How to apply
You can send requests about your rights by email to hi@klarvoanalytics.com. Your request is resolved free of charge as soon as possible, and within 30 days at the latest.
11. Changes
This notice is updated when our data processing changes. The current version is always published on this page, with the last update date at the top.
